2008 Scenic Ridge Campground Rules

  • You must be 21 years of age to rent a site
  • Quiet Time -11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (enforced by security personnel)
    Campers need to remain at their site after 11:00 p.m.
    Quiet time means NO Radios, Music, No Loud Amplified Sounds, No Shouting or Yelling
    Please keep voices to a whisper and be respectful to other campers and our neighbors.
  • Periodic walking patrols are conducted day and night by security personnel.
    Decision of security is absolutely final pertaining to noise, campfires, or other infringement of rules.
  • Speed limit in the campground is 10 M.P.H. Every vehicle entering the campground MUST BE REGISTERED with exact number of people in vehicle, and REGISTRATION DISPLAYED IN WINDSHIELD AT ALL TIMES. Unregistered persons & vehicles will be considered trespassing and will be required to leave.
  • Assignment of sites made at general store only. Check prior to moving.
  • No vehicles allowed entering the campground after gate is closed.
  • FIREWORKS and FIREARMS PROHIBITED at all times.
  • Registered Campers are responsible for the actions and safety of their family & guests.
  • Grey water & sewage cannot be run onto the grounds. (Dump Station Available)
  • Alcoholic beverages at your site only. GLASS BOTTLES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS!
  • CAMPFIRES must be kept under control & within the Fire pit at all times. (NO ENLARGING OF FIRE PITS). Campfires must be extinguished at midnight. NO CHAIN SAWS or GAS GENERATORS to be used in the campground.    Anyone found with an axe or saw in the woods will be liable for damage done to live trees and will be required to leave.
    FIREWOOD IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN THE STORE.
  • PRIVATE PROPERTY surrounds the Campground. No one is allowed in the woods for any other reason than to walk the trails.    (Please see trail map on the back of our brochure)
  • Please keep your site & fire pit free of debris, cans, and other litter. No disposable food or drink containers allowed on trails.
    REMEMBER GLASS BOTTLES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS!
  • Anyone found damaging picnic tables or campground property will be fined to cover the cost of replacement or repair  and will be required to leave.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO MINI-BIKES, TRAIL BIKES, or ATV'S allowed to be used in the campground.    Motorcycles restricted to use on main roads for transportation use only.
  • Do not secure anything to trees using nails, screws, cable, or chain.
  • BEACH RULES: See sign posted at the beach.
  • PETS are allowed but must be kept on a leash, quiet, and cleaned up after. Never leave your pet unattended.    Pets are not allowed on the beach. Ask in the office where "Fido" may swim. Pets not allowed in any of the buildings.   We will contact the S.P.C.A. for any animal locked in autos.
  • Any person, whose conduct is offensive to other campers, or the management, will be required to leave.
  • "OFFENSIVE CONDUCT" will be determined by management as each instance arises, and management's decision will be final.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS when required to leave because of infringement of rules.
  • ABIDE BY THE RULES AND WE'LL ALL HAVE A GOOD TIME!
    Reservation and Registration Hours - 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
    After hour registrations are subject to additional charges.
    Rain Checks available - NO REFUNDS on Camping or Cottages.
